Director of the Center for Earth and Environmental Science: (SL-6)

This position found only at SUC Plattsburgh is responsible for the leadership and supervision of Center for Earth and Environmental Sciences, a satellite campus that studies Environmental and Agricultural issues. Supervises and coordinates the development, revision and evaluation of courses and programs for the academic year; oversees the department Affirmative Action Program; assists in student orientation and registration and coordinates the Center’s budget and authorizes valid expenditures within this budget; coordinates the distribution and utilization of space and equipment assigned to the Center. Works independently, with consultative direction, and supervises a subordinate staff.

Ph.D in an Earth or Environmental Sciences or related field and three (3) to five (5) years of teaching and administrative experience in higher education.
