This is a statement from United University Professions President Frederick E. Kowal on the death of longtime Civil Service Employees Association President Danny Donohue, who served as president of his union for 26 years, retiring in 2019:

"The entire labor community mourns the loss of Danny Donohue, a fierce advocate for his members, and a friend to working people throughout the state of New York. On behalf of UUP’s more than 42,000 members, I offer our sincere condolences to the Donohue family and the entire CSEA organization.”
