Labor is solidly behind Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign.
Nearly 40 unions, including the United Auto Workers, the AFL-CIO, the American Federation of Teachers, the National Education Association and the United Steelworkers have pledged their support for Harris in the Nov. 5 election.
Only one major union, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, has yet to endorse Harris. The Teamsters haven’t made an endorsement yet, although the union interviewed Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in July and is set to talk with Harris later in September.
Teamsters President Sean O’Brian, who spoke at the Republican National Convention in July, has recently been critical of Trump over comments he made about striking workers being fired during an Aug. 12 conversation with Elon Musk on X.
