July 28, 2025
On Feb. 5, the grassroots 50501 Movement staged its first protest, a nationwide event held in more than 80 locations in all 50 states to protest the president and his administration’s assault on everything from science and research to democracy.
Since then, other groups, such as Indivisible and Hands Off 2025 have come together to organize and stage nationwide rallies in hamlets and small towns to the largest urban areas—all to protest the Republican-led administration’s authoritarian attacks on democracy.
The latest protest, a June 14 event called No Kings, drew more than 5 million people to rallies in more than 2,100 communities across the country. UUP was a sponsor of the event.
Next up: Rage Against the Regime.
On Saturday, Aug. 2, communities across the country will hold Rage Against The Regime protests in response to actions by the Republican-led administration, including its sweeping immigration policies and attacks on civil rights, human rights and democratic institutions.
Hundreds of rallies have been scheduled and more are expected to be announced as the rally date draws closer. Below are Good Trouble events scheduled across New York state:Saturday, Aug. 2
