There are several committees within this program that provide opportunities for professional development, provide leaves for those in a protected class status and grants to fund projects that may be around diversity, equity, and inclusion.   • NYSUT Sticks and Stones Implicit Bias training 1.0 and 2.0
  • These training sessions are provided by NYSUT free of cost to our members. These trainings employ the train-the-trainer method and offer opportunities for our member to become a trainer after completing the sessions. Chapters that have offered this training to their members include Buffalo Center, Buffalo State, Cortland and Delhi.
