Programs
UUP/NYS JLMC are contractually negotiated committees administered jointly by UUP and management. There are several committees within this program that provide opportunities for professional development, provide leaves for those in a protected class status and grants to fund projects that may be around diversity, equity, and inclusion. These training sessions are provided by NYSUT free of cost to our members. These trainings employ the train-the-trainer method and offer opportunities for our member to become a trainer after completing the sessions. Chapters that have offered this training to their members include Buffalo Center, Buffalo State, Cortland and Delhi.
